| Obverse description | Central field bears a Persian inscription in cursive script reading 'Fulus Adl' (coins of justice), executed in raised relief within a plain inner circle. The lettering is set against a deeply textured, granular field typical of late Timurid hammered copper coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a broad, unadorned rim showing the characteristic irregularities of hand-struck production. The die-work is bold but unevenly struck, resulting in partial weakness at the periphery. No figural or geometric ornament accompanies the inscription. |
