| Descrizione del dritto | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in raised relief, produced by hammered dies on an irregular flan. The inscription, characteristic of anonymous civic copper coinage of the Safavid period, occupies the majority of the field and is enclosed within a partial linear border. The strike is somewhat off-center, resulting in partial legend loss at the periphery, consistent with typical hammered falus production of the region. The surface displays an even dark patina with areas of natural copper oxidation, attesting to genuine age and circulation wear. |
