Obverse description A short cross divides the field into four quadrants, each containing an heraldic shield. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a Gothic legend in Latin running around the periphery, commencing at 12 o'clock. The overall style is characteristic of late-medieval Silesian coinage, with angular Gothic lettering and bold heraldic devices filling each quadrant.
