Obverse description Draped bust of the nymph Pelorias facing left, her hair elaborately bound in an ampyx and sphendone, the latter ornamented with a star motif. The portrait is rendered in the Sicilian Greek style characteristic of the mid-fourth century BC, with fine detail in the hair treatment. The flan is of irregular fabric typical of locally produced Sicilian bronze coinage of the period.

Reverse description A tall torch with a flaming head stands upright at center, flanked symmetrically by two grain ears, one to the left and one to the right, their heads drooping slightly outward. The composition is bold and schematic, occupying nearly the full field of the flan. The devices allude to agricultural fertility and civic ritual, emblematic of this Sicilian community's local identity. The fabric is flat and slightly worn, consistent with bronze coinage of the Archonidean mint.
