Obverse description Intaglio portrait of Marie Königin von Bayern (1825–1889) at centre-right, rendered in fine engraved linework against a multicolour guilloche underprint in orange and yellow tones. At centre, a large geometric vignette composed of overlapping triangular forms in orange, silver, and gold incorporates an OVD security element bearing an intaglio portrait medallion. To the far right, a yellow-toned architectural vignette of a Bavarian baroque church tower is visible, alongside a vertical iridescent security stripe bearing repeated microtext; the printer's name and monogram appear at left.
