| 表面の説明 | Intaglio portrait of Marie Königin von Bayern (1825–1889) at centre-right, rendered in fine engraved linework against a multicolour guilloche underprint in orange and yellow tones. At centre, a large geometric vignette composed of overlapping triangular forms in orange, silver, and gold incorporates an OVD security element bearing an intaglio portrait medallion. To the far right, a yellow-toned architectural vignette of a Bavarian baroque church tower is visible, alongside a vertical iridescent security stripe bearing repeated microtext; the printer's name and monogram appear at left. |

Giesecke & Devrient have produced promotional and demonstration patterns for over a century, used at trade exhibitions and in client pitches to showcase their current security-feature capabilities without issuing anything redeemable. This example, produced around 2000, functions as a technical sampler — the OVD, colour-shifting ink, and microtext are the actual point of the piece, not the imagery or the nominal subject.
The "Marie Königin von Bayern" subject is purely decorative cover for the security printing demonstration beneath it.
