Obverse description Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gelimer facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial tradition on a small, crudely struck flan. A surrounding Latin legend encircles the effigy, though lettering is often weakly struck and partially visible due to the irregular planchet. The portrait, while schematic in execution, retains the characteristic late antique conventions of diadem, paludamentum, and cuirass.
