The facial features are boldly modelled in high relief, with large, deeply incised eyes, a broad nose, and slightly parted lips bearing traces of an archaic expression. The style is characteristic of the provincial Pisidian die-cutting tradition of the third century BC, displaying a vigorous if somewhat rustic treatment of the human form.
