Beschrijving voorzijde A bold Greek cross occupies the central field, its four arms extending nearly to the inner border. In each of the four quadrants formed by the cross arms, a pellet and a crescent are arranged symmetrically, giving the design a balanced, heraldic character. The cross is rendered in high relief with broad flat arms typical of Romanesque hammered coinage. The surrounding border consists of a beaded or linear ring conforming to the irregular flan. No legend is present; the design is purely symbolic, consistent with the Heiligenkreuz (Holy Cross) type attributed to Archbishop Eberhard I of Salzburg.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a large cross with broad arms extending to the border, similar in style to the obverse but with variant ornamental fills in the quadrants. Each quadrant contains a crescent-like lunette and a small pellet, with one quadrant showing a small cross pommée or cross symbol. The design is characteristic of the bracteate-influenced Salzburg pfennig tradition of the mid-twelfth century, executed in the Romanesque style. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, as typical of hammered silver coins of this period. No inscription or legend appears on this face.
