Reverse description Central device depicting a stylized cornucopia (horn of plenty), rendered in low relief on an irregular, roughly struck flan. The cornucopia is shown frontally, with curved flanking elements suggesting a double cornucopia motif, a common Hasmonean symbol of royal abundance and legitimacy. The field surrounding the device is heavily worn and encrusted, consistent with extended burial or circulation. No legible inscription is visible on this example, though some specimens of this type bear a Greek legend.
