The central field bears the large Chinese characters 大清 ('Great Qing') flanked by Manchu script reading 'Daicing' and 'Menggun jiha' (silver coin), with the character 清 below. The lower portion of the field reads 兩一平庫 ('One Tael, Treasury Standard'). The design is enclosed by a beaded inner border with the reeded rim visible at the periphery. |
