Reverse description A dove standing to the right with wings folded, depicted in compact relief upon a plain field. The bird is naturalistically rendered with visible wing and tail feather detail. Cypriot syllabic script characters appear in the lower field below the dove, referencing the issuing authority of the Paphian king Timarchos. The composition is set within the characteristic irregular flan typical of hammered Cypriot silver coinage of this period.
