Andoco is one of several poorly-understood rulers issuing coins in the Catuvellauni sphere during the late first century BC, his name appearing on only a handful of types. Whether he ruled independently, as a sub-king, or briefly contested Tasciovanus for primacy remains unresolved — no classical source mentions him by name. The coin exists as its own evidence.
