| Obverse description | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, rendered in late Roman imperial style. The effigy is encircled by a Latin legend naming the emperor in the nominative with his honorific titles. The portrait follows the established Roman solidus typology, with fine detail on the diadem pearls and drapery folds of the paludamentum. The overall style reflects Suebi imitative workmanship adapted from official Roman prototypes. |
