Reverse description Standing figure of Victory facing, rendered in the Byzantine imperial tradition, with large spread wings, wearing a long draped robe. The figure holds a long staff or cross-tipped sceptre in the right hand and a globus cruciger in the left. In the exergue, the mint mark CONOB (Constantinople standard gold) appears, with the letter B denoting the Bonn mint above. A star is visible to the right of the figure in the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
