| Obverse description | Crowned royal bust facing right, depicted in the schematized Indo-Sasanian tradition with a prominent diadem or crown rendered in low relief. A solid solar symbol (sun disc) occupies the right field, a common dynastic emblem of the Sindh rulers. The facial features, though stylized and worn, retain characteristic traits of late antique South Asian portraiture, including a strong jawline and distinctive neckline. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered electrum coinage of the period. |
