The hair is rendered as a series of deeply engraved curved lines radiating from the crown, while a prominent crescent-shaped element occupies the central field before the face, likely a degenerate rendering of the original Macedonian royal diadem or an added Celtic symbol. The facial features — eye, nose, and chin — are reduced to simple geometric forms, characteristic of Dacian and Transylvanian Celtic coinage derived from Macedonian prototypes.
