Obverse description Diademed bust of Phraates V (Phraatakes) facing left, wearing a tiara adorned with a row of pellets along the upper band; the hair is rendered in multiple rows of beaded curls falling behind the ear, and a short, beaded beard is visible. The king is draped in a garment with a distinctive diagonal stripe across the chest. Two winged Nike figures flank the effigy in the field, each extending a wreath toward the king's head in a crowning gesture. The overall style is characteristic of late Parthian Seleucia mint fabric, with bold, deeply struck relief.
