| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Artemis facing right, hair rendered in fine parallel striations and bound with a diadem, a quiver visible at the shoulder. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Massalian civic coinage, with carefully modelled facial features. The Greek letter Α appears in the lower right field as a control mark. A beaded border encircles the design. |
