| Obverse description | Facing bust of King Wittiza depicted in a highly stylized, schematic manner characteristic of late Visigothic coinage, positioned at the center of the field. The effigy is rendered frontally with pelleted or beaded detailing around the head, flanked by cross-tipped ornaments or regalia on either side. The surrounding circular legend reads + I D · N · VVITTIZA RX, identifying the king by name and title. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or serrated inner border.
