In the lower foreground, a large ornamental vase inscribed IOHAN II is prominently displayed alongside a servant crouching over large water jars. The legend HOC · PRAESIDE · NIHIL · DEEST arches across the upper field, with the engraver's signature ANTON·MEIBUSCH / FEC·A·PARIS· / 1687 in the lower exergue.
