The FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira) zero-denomination "note" is not currency in any legal sense — it is a non-negotiable token issued internally by the Brazilian Air Force, used within the closed economy of military canteens and base exchanges. Zero-denomination scrip of this type circulated purely as a control mechanism, tracking credit rather than representing stored value.
