| Opis rewersu | Central field bears the fractional denomination 1/2 in large numerals surmounted by a small patriarchal cross at the apex, with ESCUDO inscribed below the fraction and the mint assayer initials M.S. beneath. The entire central device is encircled by a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base, with berried sprigs at the junctions. A beaded border frames the design at the periphery.
