Enschedé in Haarlem has handled prestige security printing for centuries, and their involvement here signals this was conceived as a collector instrument from the outset rather than a functional currency note.
Rudolf Cigánik is a Slovak designer with credits across multiple commemorative and bullion-linked note projects. That a Dutch security printer and a Slovak designer produced a note denominated in British pounds tells you exactly what this object is.
