| Beschrijving keerzijde | Dominating the field is a large Katanga Cross (croisette du Katanga), the traditional X-shaped copper ingot currency of the region, rendered in bold relief. To the upper right of the cross, the two-line legend BANQUE NATIONALE identifies the issuing authority. The denomination 1 FR appears to the left of the cross centre, and the date 1961 is inscribed in the lower exergue. The design is unbordered, filling the field to the rim. |
