| Beschrijving voorzijde | Schematized bust of King Harthacnut facing right, rendered in the crude Viking-age hammered style typical of Danish pennings of the early 11th century. The effigy is depicted with a diademed or helmeted head, the facial features reduced to abstract geometric forms.
