正面描述 Letterpress-printed in black on plain paper stock, the note centres the denomination ONE PESO in large spaced capitals, with the issuing authority legend arched above and a legal tender clause in italic script below. The provincial seal of Capiz — a heraldic shield surmounted by an eagle — appears at left, while the numeral value P 1.00 is placed at upper right and repeated twice along the lower margin. A serial number field and series designation occupy the lower left, the whole enclosed within a decorative ornamental border.

背面描述 The reverse is otherwise unprinted save for a large arc-shaped rubber handstamp applied in black ink at centre, enclosing the emergency currency authorization text. A manuscript signature appears beneath the handstamp, with a printed or stamped date line at the foot of the note.

备注

Provincial emergency currency issued under Japanese occupation, when the Philippine Commonwealth government — operating in exile or in fragmented guerrilla capacity — authorized local administrations to print their own scrip to keep commerce functioning. Capiz Province, on the northwest coast of Panay, was among several Visayan provinces that issued notes independently during this period.

The S-prefix in the Pick reference denotes regional or guerrilla issue. Survival rates vary considerably across the provincial series — Capiz notes tend to surface less frequently than those from larger Visayan centers like Iloilo.
