正面描述	Portrait of King George VI in military uniform at right, set within an ornate guilloche border. The Fijian coat of arms occupies the upper centre, flanked by guilloche rosettes and a large blank oval underprint at left. Inscriptions below the coat of arms read GOVERNMENT OF FIJI and ONE POUND, with the legal tender clause and date of issue. Three manuscript signatures appear at the lower centre above the title COMMISSIONER OF CURRENCY.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in red-brown on a light ground, centred on an elaborate symmetrical guilloche design composed of interlocking lathe-work panels and ornamental scrollwork. A rectangular cartouche at the centre bears the inscription GOVERNMENT OF FIJI in bold serif lettering. A large blank oval medallion is positioned at the right, balanced by a smaller oval at the left, both surrounded by fine engine-turned patterns.
