| Reverse description | The inner disc presents a right-facing profile portrait of Major-General Sultan Sosnaliev, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Abkhazia during the Patriotic War of 1992–1993, accompanied by the inscription СОСНАЛИЕВ С.А. beneath the effigy. The surrounding outer ring is gold-plated and carries inscriptions in Abkhaz separated by dot dividers: in the upper arc, АҦСНЫ АҲӘЫНҬҚАРРА (The Republic of Abkhazia), and in the lower arc, the commemorative dates 1993 and 2013 flanking the word АИААИРА (Victory). A continuous dotted border encircles the design. |

| Additional information |
Sulkhan Sosnaliev commanded Abkhazian forces during the 1992–1993 war with Georgia, a conflict that ended with Abkhazia achieving de facto independence — though recognition from United Nations member states remains almost entirely absent. The National Bank of Abkhazia, itself unrecognized by international financial institutions, issues these collector pieces in part to assert a functioning sovereign monetary apparatus. Mintages are extremely low, distribution is limited to a narrow collector market, and pieces rarely surface outside the post-Soviet numismatic trade.
