| Obverse description | The right half of the note is occupied by an intaglio vignette of Namdaemun (Sungnyemun), the Great South Gate of Seoul's historic fortress wall, rendered in fine engraved detail with surrounding foliage and its characteristic two-tiered pavilion over the arched stone gateway. Large Chinese characters 拾圜 dominate the centre against a guilloche underprint bearing the Bank of Korea seal in blue, with a red circular official stamp affixed below. Ornate floral scroll borders frame all four sides, with numeral 10 cartouches at the upper corners and Korean syllabic characters 십 and 환 at the lower corners. |

| Reverse description | The central vignette presents an intaglio view of the hexagonal basalt columnar formations of Jusangjeolli Cliff (Jisatgae Rocks) near Daepo on Jeju Island, with the sea visible beyond the geological formations. The denomination and issuer inscriptions are arranged across the note within a fine guilloche underprint field, flanked by ornamental engraved border work consistent with the series design. |
