| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays the Coat of Arms of Liberland, a heraldic shield divided into two sections: the upper portion bearing a tree motif on a dotted ground, and the lower portion depicting an eagle with a sun device on a diagonally hatched ground. The denomination '10 MERIT' appears in the upper legend, flanked by the split date '20' and '17' to the left and right of the shield respectively. The outer legend reads 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERLAND' along the lower rim, while a curved inscription along the upper rim bears the quote attributed to Vit Jedlicka. Liberland — the self-proclaimed micronation occupying a disputed sliver of land on the western bank of the Danube between Croatia and Serbia — declared independence in April 2015, exploiting a territorial ambiguity left unresolved after the Yugoslav succession. Its coinage program exists almost entirely as a collector and promotional exercise; no circulating economy has ever operated there. This piece is a specimen test planchet, struck to evaluate the silver plating over a zinc alloy core before committing to a production run that, for all practical purposes, never materialized into general use.
