备注

Netzschkau is a small textile-manufacturing town in the Vogtland region of Saxony, and like hundreds of German municipalities it issued its own Kleingeldersatz — small-change substitute notes — during the acute coin shortage of World War One. The Reichsbank's metal was being consumed by the war effort, and local governments were legally permitted to fill the gap with their own emergency paper.

These Stadtgemeinde issues were printed in vast variety across Germany between roughly 1916 and 1922, and the Netzschkau examples are among the more obscure provincial pieces. Collector interest tends to cluster around the town's textile heritage rather than any monetary significance.
