Bangladesh Bank has issued several distinct 100 Taka types across the P#44 series span, and the 2005 date falls within a transitional period when the security thread specification was upgraded from a plain embedded strip to a windowed thread — though not all notes dated 2005 carry the later thread, depending on print run. Worth checking under transmitted light before cataloging as the later variant.
The signature on the note identifies the Bangladesh Bank Governor in office at signing, which for 2005 issues was Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, appointed that year.
