Nepal's shift to Chinese banknote printing for its higher denominations has been a quiet but significant procurement decision — China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation has supplied several Nepali issues since the early 2000s, part of a broader economic alignment that includes infrastructure lending and trade agreements.
