备注

Nepal's shift to Chinese banknote printing for its higher denominations has been a quiet but significant procurement decision — China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation has supplied several Nepali issues since the early 2000s, part of a broader economic alignment that includes infrastructure lending and trade agreements. The 1000-rupee note is the highest denomination in regular domestic circulation and consequently the one most targeted by counterfeiters, which makes the choice of printer and security specification more than a bureaucratic matter.

The security thread on P#75 is relatively modest for a top-denomination note. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka were embedding windowed threads with color-shift properties on comparable values during the same period.
