| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is printed in black and orange-pink tones, centred on a large intaglio vignette of a seated allegorical female figure reclining beside luggage and barrels, with a harbour scene and sailing ships in the background. Large ornate guilloche numeral '2' panels flank the central vignette on both sides, with the bank title 'BANCO DEL ECUADOR' in bold lettering across the top. Capital and company details appear in the upper corners, with the place and date 'GUAYAQUIL, Enero 2 de 1911' inscribed below the central vignette alongside the denomination 'VALE DOS SUCRES' and signature lines for the Gerentes. |
