Two columns of text flank the central vignette: the left bearing the German guarantee clause dated 9 December 1916 and signed by the Warsaw General-Governorate, the right carrying the anti-counterfeiting warning; the date '1917' and a red oval control stamp with eagle appear at lower right. |
