The bank title EL BANCO INDUSTRIAL arcs across the top in bold letterpress, with CARTAGENA - COLOMBIA below, and the denomination VEINTE PESOS ORO LEGAL in an ornate panel at centre. Coupon tabs with years ranging from the 1920s through the 1960s border the note on three sides, indicating its mortgage-bond character, with the series designation SERIE B and the imprint of the American Bank Note Company at the foot. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in a uniform sepia-brown tone and carries a lengthy legal text set in two framed panels flanking a central ornamental cartouche. The left panel announces interest terms of 4% per annum payable in arrears from the date of issue, while the central and right panels reproduce key clauses of the contract between the Gobierno Nacional and the Banco Industrial dated 18 de Mayo de 1918, citing Ley 24 de 1905 and Ley 108 de 1919. The numeral 20 appears in each upper corner within decorative frames, and the American Bank Note Company imprint is repeated at the foot. |
