| 表面の説明 | Typeset note with a serrated border frame throughout. The upper portion carries Dutch text in letterpress, headed by letter designation 'Lett: F.' and number 'Num°' at top, followed by the denomination line 'Goed voor 20: Rds. of 12: gecart: Ducatons.' A lengthy Dutch certification text body attests to the bearer's entitlement, payable at Batavia, valid at Amboina, Banda, and Ternate. Below the Dutch text, a block of Malay-Arabic script in Jawi characters repeats the tenor of the note. At lower centre, a circular VOC handstamp and multiple manuscript signatures authenticate the document, dated 'Amboina in het Kasteel Victoria, den 29. Maart 1809.' |

(Zegge) Twintig Ryksdaalders, van 48. zwaare stuivers ieder, Indisch geld, of wel 12. (Zegge) Twalf nieuwe gecartelde Ducatonnen van 80 stuivers ieder. Zynde deze gangbaar te Amboina, Banda en Ternaten, zonder eenige korting; en zal deze te Batavia by vertooning worden uitbetaald in klinkende Muntspecien, zonder eenige korting. Two large circular dark green VOC stamps, each enclosing the monogram 'VOC' above the numeral '20', are applied at upper left and upper right corners.
