| 背面描述 | A central intaglio vignette occupies the right panel, presenting three horses grazing in an alpine valley meadow set against a panoramic mountain range rendered in fine line engraving. To the left, an ornate vertical cartouche with traditional Mongolian decorative motifs frames the vertical Cyrillic inscription МОНГОЛБАНК, while denomination numerals appear in guilloche ovals at upper right and lower left corners. The date year is printed in small numerals at the lower left margin. |

| 备注 |
Mongolia's 20 Tögrög occupies an odd position in the series — low enough in face value to circulate heavily in everyday transactions, yet durable enough in De La Rue's paper stock to survive it. The denomination has roots in the Soviet-era monetary structure inherited after 1990, when Mongolia's post-communist transition left the Tögrög badly devalued; by the time this series launched in 2002, 20 Tögrög bought almost nothing, which partly explains why these notes accumulated in drawers rather than wearing out in wallets.
A watermark is the sole security feature — modest even by regional standards of the period.
