| Obverse description | Mauve-brown note centred on a large ornate cartouche bearing the denomination numerals '25' at left and right and the Cyrillic inscription КАРБОВАНЦІВ across the centre, flanked by foliate and acanthus scrollwork. Above the cartouche a small trident (тризуб) state arms vignette is set within decorative framing, with the heading ЗНАК ДЕРЖАВНОЇ СКАРБНИЦІ arching across the upper field and the date 1919 р. repeated at upper left and upper right. A manuscript signature of the Director of the State Treasury appears at lower centre, with a red serial number printed vertically at right. |

Elaborate floral and ribbon garlands extend symmetrically to either side, terminating in circular panels bearing the numeral '25' at upper left and upper right. The bold Cyrillic legend КАРБОВАНЦІВ is inscribed across the top of the note, and the anti-counterfeiting warning ФАЛЬШУВАННЯ КАРАЄТЬСЯ ПО ЗАКОНУ runs along the lower margin. |
