| Obverse description | The obverse features the Lithuanian state emblem known as the Vytis — an armoured knight on horseback charging to the left, bearing a sword raised aloft and a shield decorated with a double cross, rendered in bold relief against a plain field. The legend LIETUVA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 25 LITAI and the date 2014 are inscribed along the lower periphery. The mint mark LMK of the Lithuanian Mint appears to the right of the central device. The design is executed in the classical heraldic style characteristic of Lithuanian coinage. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylised cartographic composition depicting the outlines of the three Baltic states — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — rendered with contrasting textured fields to distinguish each territory. A sinuous line traversing all three countries from north to south symbolises the historic Baltic Way human chain of 23 August 1989. Each country's national flag is rendered in colour enamel within a leaf-shaped motif positioned along this line: the blue, black, and white tricolour of Estonia at the top, the red and white of Latvia at the centre, and the yellow, green, and red tricolour of Lithuania at the bottom. The legend BALTIJOS KELIAS arcs along the left periphery and the numeral 25 appears at the upper right, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Baltic Way. A designer's initial appears in the lower right field. |
