| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents a stylised cartographic composition depicting the outlines of the three Baltic states — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — rendered with contrasting textured fields to distinguish each territory. A sinuous line traversing all three countries from north to south symbolises the historic Baltic Way human chain of 23 August 1989. Each country's national flag is rendered in colour enamel within a leaf-shaped motif positioned along this line: the blue, black, and white tricolour of Estonia at the top, the red and white of Latvia at the centre, and the yellow, green, and red tricolour of Lithuania at the bottom.
