| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Commonwealth of Australia coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic shield supported by a kangaroo to the left and an emu to the right, both standing on a grassy mound. Above the shield a seven-pointed Commonwealth Star is displayed, and below a scrolled ribbon bears the motto ADVANCE AUSTRALIA. The denomination THREEPENCE arcs around the upper periphery in bold capital letters, and the date 1910 appears in the lower field flanked by small decorative sprigs. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |

Edward VII died on May 6, 1910, making this the final year of his coinage. The Royal Mint continued striking dated 1910 pieces after his death, meaning some of these threepences were produced under George V's reign while still bearing his father's effigy — a routine administrative overlap that the Mint managed across all denominations that year.
