| Obverse description | Green on light background, the note bears a central text block reading 'EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE OF 1941 / THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK WILL PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND' surrounding a circular seal vignette at center. The denomination '5' appears in large numerals at each corner, with 'CENTAVOS' running vertically along both side borders in a guilloche-patterned frame. Three signature lines appear at the lower portion, attributed to the Provincial Auditor, Manager of the Iloilo Branch, and Provincial Fiscal, with the serial number printed vertically on both sides. |
