| 背面描述 | The central vignette presents an intaglio scene commemorating the Declaration of Philippine Independence on 12 June 1898, with Emilio Aguinaldo and assembled dignitaries on a decorated balcony above a jubilant crowd of armed revolutionaries raising rifles, flags, and hats in celebration. Denomination numerals "5" appear in large intaglio figures at both left and right margins, with a multicolour guilloche underprint in orange, green, and red tones framing the composition. The legend "LIMANG PISO" is inscribed in bold letterpress along the lower border. |

| 备注 |
The BSP's Security Plant Complex, established in 1978, was one of the few currency printing facilities in Southeast Asia owned and operated entirely by the issuing central bank — a deliberate policy decision following decades of reliance on foreign printers. By the mid-1990s it was producing the full domestic note range in-house. The Seal Type 5 designation marks a specific iteration of the BSP's official seal used across multiple denominations during this window, distinguishing it from earlier and later seal variants within otherwise identical series runs.
