| Obverse description | Green and red note with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire face. The heading THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FALKLAND ISLANDS is printed across the upper centre, with the legal tender clause below; the denomination £5 / FIVE POUNDS appears in a bold intaglio panel at centre-left.
