正面描述	Green and red note with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire face. The heading THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FALKLAND ISLANDS is printed across the upper centre, with the legal tender clause below; the denomination £5 / FIVE POUNDS appears in a bold intaglio panel at centre-left. To the right, an ornate cartouche surmounted by a royal crown contains a right-facing portrait bust of King George V. The date and the manuscript signature of the Commissioner of Currency are inscribed at lower centre, with serial numbers in red at upper left and lower right.
