Cojedes, a sparsely populated llanos state, channeled this through Alimentos Cojedes, its state food distribution entity, tying the scrip's validity directly to the CLAP food subsidy program rather than to general commerce. The "Zamoranos" name references Ezequiel Zamora, the 19th-century agrarian revolutionary whose image the Chávez and Maduro governments systematically deployed as ideological branding across state institutions.
