备注

The 1876 Serbian issues were among the first paper money ever circulated in the Kingdom of Serbia, a country where public trust in anything other than metal coin was essentially nonexistent. The Dumont print shop in Paris produced the entire series, and the quality of engraving was deliberately high — partly a technical choice, partly a political one, since the government understood that a poorly printed note would be refused outright by a skeptical population.

Pick 4 is the largest denomination of the inaugural 1876 series. Hoarding was widespread, and genuine circulation examples showing honest wear are considerably harder to find than uncirculated survivors pulled from old hoards.
